Here is a list of poisonous mushrooms, of which the lethally poisonous mushrooms are listed first. Anyone gathering mushrooms to cook and eat needs to be able to identify at least the deadly poisonous mushrooms. Do not under any circumstances taste or eat of any of these mushrooms.

Cap 5-10 cm diameter, stem 6-9 cm tall * 0.8-1 cm diameter
Tricholoma stiparophyllum is a large fleshy agaric that is whitish throughout. It grows scattered or in small trooping groups on soil in broad-leaf and coniferous woods.
Cap at first convex and becomes flattened, usually dry and smooth, white or with a pale yellow tinge, ochre-yellow towards the centre when mature. Gills white, emarginate, fairly broad and crowded. Stem white, smooth, fibrous and cylindrical or tapering slightly upwards. The mushroom has no ring.
Similar species Tricholoma album is very similar in macroscopic characteristics and some authorities currently treat them as the same species.
